Cotton Stretch Dog Recovery Suit
Give your dog soft, flexible body coverage during recovery. Made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex, this recovery suit features a double-layer belly, an elasticated waist, and a rear closure. The covered belly area helps limit direct licking, while the stretch fabric allows comfortable movement.
Before you buy: Toilet openings require cutting. Cutting locations differ for male and female dogs. Pads are not included.

🛡️ Double-Layer Belly Coverage
Two layers of fabric cover the belly to help limit direct licking of the covered area. An inner pocket can hold a separately supplied pad when needed. No pads are included.

A gathered, elasticated waist helps the suit sit close to the body. The rear section opens to make dressing and removal easier.
✂️ Cut-to-Open Toilet Access
Designated cutting areas allow you to create toilet openings for male or female dogs. These openings are supplied closed and must be cut before they can be used for toilet access.
Size & Measuring Guide
Measure your dog before ordering. Match the measurements below to the size chart rather than choosing by weight or breed alone.
- Neck: Measure around the base of the neck.
- Chest: Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Back Length: Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Keep the tape comfortably snug without pulling it tight. If measurements fall between sizes, the supplier recommends choosing the larger size.

Toilet Opening Preparation
This suit requires a one-time cutting step to create toilet access. Check the fit and identify the correct cutting area before making any permanent changes.
- For male dogs: The supplier’s guide shows an oval cutting area on the underside. The corresponding inner layer also requires trimming.
- For female dogs: The supplier’s guide shows a separate cutting area at the rear underside.
- Before cutting: Remove the suit from your dog. Follow the designated cutting guide for the correct area.
Cutting permanently changes the suit’s coverage. If the opening would expose an area that needs protection, consult your veterinarian before modifying the suit.
Recovery Use
For post-operative use, ask your veterinarian whether this style of coverage is suitable for your dog’s procedure and the area that needs protection. The suit covers the torso and belly; it does not cover every part of the body or guarantee that licking and chewing will be prevented.
Follow your veterinarian’s instructions about protective collars, dressings, and any pad placed in the inner pocket.
