Essential Dual-Leg Dog Knee Brace with Harness
Essential Dual-Leg Dog Knee Brace with Harness
A complete rear-leg brace set with a coordinating body harness. The Essential Dual-Leg Dog Knee Brace with Harness combines thinner fabric with four built-in metal supports and adjustable connecting straps.

The set includes the harness and braces for both rear legs. Its thinner fabric construction offers a less bulky option than our thicker brace styles.
Before you buy: The metal supports are not removable. This design is not suitable for short-legged or giant dogs. Measure both the upper thigh and chest before selecting a size.
Key Features
🐾 Complete Dual-Leg Set
The included body harness connects to both rear-leg braces through adjustable straps. A three-way connector at the back joins the harness to the two leg straps.
🦴 Four Built-In Metal Supports
Four metal strips reinforce the rear-leg braces. The supports are built into the braces and cannot be removed, so there are no separate inserts to install.
🪶 Thinner Fabric Construction
Compared with our thicker brace styles, this Essential version uses thinner fabric for a less bulky construction while retaining metal reinforcement.
🔧 Multiple Fit Adjustments
The neck buckle, body fastening, connecting straps, and hook-and-loop leg closures allow adjustment at several points. The connecting straps link the rear-leg braces to the harness to help keep the set positioned.
What Is Included?
- One body harness
- One left rear-leg brace
- One right rear-leg brace
- Connecting straps for attaching the braces to the harness
- Four built-in, non-removable metal support strips across the two braces
Size & Measuring Guide
Measure your dog while standing naturally. Check both measurements below before choosing a size.
- A. Upper Thigh Circumference: Measure around the upper part of the rear thigh. Keep the tape level around the thigh, without angling it or measuring too low down the leg. Measure both rear thighs.
- B. Chest Circumference: Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Inches are shown first, with approximate centimeters below.
The supplier provides upper measurement limits only. The < symbol means “less than”; it does not describe a complete fit range.
| Size | A. Upper Thigh Circumference | B. Chest Circumference |
|---|---|---|
| XS |
<7.5 in <19.1 cm |
<17.7 in <45.0 cm |
| S |
<9.0 in <22.9 cm |
<22.8 in <57.9 cm |
| M |
<10.6 in <26.9 cm |
<26.4 in <67.1 cm |
| L |
<12.6 in <32.0 cm |
<29.5 in <74.9 cm |
| XL |
<13.8 in <35.1 cm |
<32.3 in <82.0 cm |
| XXL |
<15.7 in <39.9 cm |
<34.6 in <87.9 cm |
Inch values are taken from the supplier’s chart. Centimeter conversions are approximate. Minimum adjustment ranges and brace lengths are not provided, so measurements below the listed limits alone do not guarantee a suitable fit.
Fit restriction: This design is not suitable for short-legged or giant dogs, even if their circumference measurements fall below the listed limits.
How to Put It On
- Fit the harness. Position the harness over the body, fasten the neck buckle, and secure the chest/body fastening.
- Position both rear-leg braces. Identify the front and back of each brace using the product fitting images. Wrap each brace around the corresponding rear leg and loosely secure the closures.
- Secure the upper connecting strap. Thread the long upper strap through its corresponding loop, fold it back, and fasten it as shown in the fitting guide.
- Connect the braces to the harness. Pass the two straps from the back connector through the corresponding loops on the leg braces, then fold them back and secure them.
- Adjust the fit. Adjust the connecting straps and leg closures so the braces sit evenly. Check that the straps are not twisted and that no fastening is excessively tight.

Follow the product fitting images when routing the straps. The metal supports are fixed in place and should not be removed.
Use & Suitability
For use following an injury or procedure, ask your veterinarian whether this brace design is appropriate for your dog. The correct fit and suitability depend on your dog’s proportions and individual needs.
This set does not guarantee pain relief, improved mobility, or recovery. The connecting straps are for securing the braces to the harness; they are not presented as lifting handles.
