Dog Hip Dysplasia Brace Harness Pro

Our boy has arthritis which can get debilitating on some days- especially when the weather is cold he can barely get up. The brace offer stability and support helping our dog to manage the discomfort and get around more easily. We got the extra extra large and the size seems perfect. It takes a while to get used to if your dog isn’t used to wearing a support device but they catch on fairly quick since it probably feels good. Start with 30 a day and increase wear time a little longer each day until you’ve reached a max of 15 hours if needed for that long. Remember to remove several times a day to allow skin to breathe and give your dog a break etc. it’s not meant to wear continuously.

We saw a video on this and wanted to see if it help with my German shepherds hips…and it did. It helped her legs from crossing when she walked. It’s very easy to put on as well

My GSD slipped of some stairs and wore this brace daily while going out for nearly 5-6 months. The use of this brand specifically alleviated her symptoms when compared to other products. This one is pricy but by far the best results . I tried cheaper ones and they didn’t last or sucked. The LISPO is accommodating when walking. When my GSD ran, the range of motion was preserved and I could tell she enjoyed the brace to be able to run. When she ran without the brace, she was limited but the brace is nice. Easy to put on and take off, easy to wash. Other braces are right around the groin but the design of this allowed her to wear for hours with no issues. I highly recommend this product. My dog is now well, back to her old self. Starting with this product on the 1st try would have made the injury heal better and faster

The pieces attach with a smooth velcro that doesn't hurt my dog or snag in her hair or skin. The extra padding is also helpful, though it doesn't sit as high up as she needs, but we are able to make it work!

The harness keeps everything positioned well and my dog can still walk naturally in it.

My dog still wants to walk but his back end gets tired quickly. This gives him extra support and lets me help him when he starts struggling.

The brace seems sturdy, but figuring out all the straps and getting the fit right was more complicated than I expected. It works better now, but the first few uses were frustrating.

Our older shepherd has been having more trouble with his hips, especially standing up and getting into the car. Once we got all the straps adjusted properly, the brace gave him good support without stopping him from walking normally. The lift handle has been the most useful part for us.

It provides good support, but it is definitely bulkier than a basic hip brace. My dog needed some time to get used to it.

My dog struggles most when getting up after lying down. The handle is very useful for giving him a little boost.

This seemed just what I was looking for and I’m sure on a younger dog it would be ideal however, my dog is 12 and his back legs are not good with hip displaces. The support itself is quite heavy and bulky. It was difficult to put on a large dog who struggles to stand for any length of time without support. Had I not been going on holiday after receiving it I would have sent it back. Like I say, the concept is good but not for my gorgeous old boy

My senior lab can no longer climb stairs alone. This brace with the handle lets me guide her gently without hurting her hips. It fits snug and works well.

Our bulldog had a hip operation and needed help walking again. The lift handle is a lifesaver when getting him into the car or onto the couch. So helpful!

Because the legs wrap around instead of having to slip her legs into them, this will be a lifesaver.

My Phebe refuses to let me put stuff like this on her...she becomes dead weight.

With this brace, if she falls down and can't get up, I can wrap this around her much more easily, hook the strap on, and lift her up.

I was able to lift her with the strap by myself with one hand. She's 86 lbs and I'm not super strong, so this is going to be a wonderful tool to help her.

I purchased this brace for my senior dog that has arthritis. It helps her from her back legs sliding out from under her. It took a few times of wearing it for her to get used to it, she wouldn't go to the bathroom with it on. But once she got used to it she was fine with it.

Nice support and snug fit. My dog finds lying down slightly awkward at first, but it gets better with short sessions.

Product is exactly what I needed. I ordered several versions for my dogs post operation recovery (and foreseeable future). I sent everything else back, this is a superior project. Easy enough to use, even with a difficult Husky.
